The FlinQ Pure Sensor Trash Can makes this possible. Its lid features a UV light that uses photocatalysis to destroy odors and bacteria within the bin. It’s a trash can with a cleaning function – your home won’t get much purer than this.
Sensor
The highly sensitive sensor on the lid’s top ensures you don’t have to touch the trash can with your hands. This contactless operation contributes to hygiene in your home. Simply hold your hand in front of the sensor, and the waste bin will open its lid. It closes automatically after five seconds. If you wish to keep the bin open longer, just hold your hand in front of the sensor again. Hygiene is crucial in the kitchen and when disposing of waste, and the Pure Sensor Trash Can is designed to assist with this.
How does photocatalytic cleaning work?
Photocatalysis is a technique used to effectively purify air. Under UV light, a specific substance acts as a catalyst, enabling oxygen to destroy bacteria and viruses. This chemical reaction is not harmful to humans. The result is the breakdown of harmful organic substances and odors around the trash can.
Three Bins
The trash can is equipped with three separate waste bins, allowing you to sort your waste directly and contribute to a more sustainable world. The large bin at the top has a capacity of 36 liters. The two bins at the bottom of the trash can each hold 12 liters and slide out when the drawer is opened. This gives you a total 60-liter trash can, perfect for collecting your waste for a week.
Waste Bags
For the large 36-liter compartment, we recommend using 60-liter bags. Swirl 60L or Dumil 60L drawstring bags are ideal, as the drawstring makes removal easy. Since we’re prioritizing hygiene, let’s maintain it as long as possible! For the two lower compartments, opt for a 20/25L waste bag.

Swipe for all available parts Depending on the capacity of the trash can, we recommend garbage bags with an elastic band. For example, you can choose 50L or 60L trash bags from the Swirl brand. These are available at the supermarket.
We recommend cleaning the lid with a damp cloth. We also suggest replacing the batteries with alkaline batteries. Additionally, check if the battery compartment is properly placed or if it has shifted.
If the trash can lid no longer opens (fully), we recommend replacing the lid’s batteries with new Alkaline Batteries. Additionally, we suggest cleaning the lid thoroughly with a damp cloth every time you change the bag. Clean both the inside and outside.
