Description
Are you still looking for a nice, glowing decoration for your garden? Then the cozy Solar Strings Tiara from FlinQ are a great solution. These solar-powered lights feature very flexible wires, allowing them to move with the wind. The swaying movement creates a very energetic atmosphere in your garden or balcony. Since the lights run on solar energy, you don’t have to worry about them anymore. Ideal!
You place these lights firmly in the ground or planter using a ground stake. This ground stake is specially manufactured to keep the lights in place. Thanks to the flexible wires under the lights themselves, the light can still move freely. It’s a real show in the dark when you see these lights in action.
Thanks to the automatic light sensor, these lights will only turn on when it’s actually dark. This means the energy in the lights is used efficiently, so you can enjoy the light longer and more sustainably.
The Tiara Strings are IP44 waterproof and therefore resistant to rain, hail and snow. This means they’ll continue to work even in bad weather. During nice weather, the solar panel captures sunlight and converts it into energy for the evening hours. Thanks to the strong battery, the lamps are fully charged within 6 to 8 hours on a sunny day. Then enough energy is collected to keep shining for 10 hours.
The firefly lights are very easy to use because no cables or plugs are needed. You can place very nice solar lamps in your garden in no time with these lights. This garden lighting creates a romantic and festive atmosphere and is the perfect outdoor decoration for patios and lawns.

FlinQ solar lamps – how do they actually work?
Our FlinQ solar lamps are equipped with a built-in solar panel that converts sunlight into electricity during the day. This energy is stored in a battery in the lamp, allowing it to automatically light up in the evening – no cables, no outlet needed.
Sunlight is really necessary
A solar lamp needs direct sunlight to charge properly. The more and stronger the sun shines, the fuller the battery gets and the longer the lamp can shine in the dark. On a clear summer day, the lamp charges much better than on a gray, cloudy day.
Less effective in winter
In autumn and winter, the sun is:
– less strong
– present for a shorter time
– more often covered by clouds
As a result, solar lamps can noticeably work less effectively in winter. They shine for a shorter time, less brightly, or sometimes not at all. If there is little to no sun for an extended period (for example, during days of heavy cloud cover or rainy weather), the battery may not charge sufficiently, and the lamp may not turn on at all in the evening.
Tip for the best results
– Always place the solar lamp in a location where the solar panel receives maximum sunlight (preferably not under a roof, tree, or balcony).
– Keep the solar panel clean so that it can capture light effectively.
The time it takes for a solar lamp to charge depends on various factors, such as the type of lamp, the amount of sunlight, and the battery capacity. Generally, it takes about 6 to 8 hours to fully charge a FlinQ solar lamp. Keep in mind that during the winter months, a solar lamp charges slower and less effectively than during the summer months. The number of daylight hours is significantly less in winter compared to summer months.
During the winter months, the days are much shorter and the sun’s power is significantly weaker. As a result, the lamps charge slower than in the summer months.
No, FlinQ solar lamps have a battery that cannot be replaced.
Depending on the internal battery and the type of solar panel, a FlinQ solar lamp can last up to 32 hours on a full battery. The placement of the lamp, as well as the intensity of the sun in combination with the number of sun hours in a day, determine how long a solar lamp can burn. When installing, make sure the lamp gets enough sunlight during the day.
