Description

Bike lighting is one of those simple things in life that you still need to think about every now and then. It makes you feel safer on your bike in the dark and prevents you from getting a painful traffic ticket. But because the old-fashioned dynamo is no longer available on every bicycle, you have to remember to bring your bike lights yourself. And they have to work too. With the FlinQ Solar Bike Light with Horn, you can be completely sure of that from now on. This bicycle lamp charges via the solar panel on top. Nature does the work and you feel safe on your bike.

The solar panel bike light has three different light modes. You can choose between a bright light, normal light, or the flashing function. The light has a range of up to 200 meters, making you more than visible to oncoming traffic. And if someone isn’t paying attention, use the horn.

The FlinQ bike horn with light is IP44 waterproof and therefore ideal for outdoor use. The solar panel on top is made of the latest quality energy converters. As a result, this device fully charges in up to 10 hours of sunlight. If you don’t want to wait for that, the lamp and horn can also be charged via micro-USB (2-3 hours). You can then use the lamp for 5-10 hours with a full battery, depending on the mode you use.

The solar horn bike light can be used on various bicycles, including the normal city bike, the mountain bike and the now very well-known e-bike. The ABS housing with silicone strap ensures that the lamp is easy to install and remove. You can easily use one and the same bicycle lamp for several bicycles.

How Long Does it Take for a Solar Lamp to Fully Charge?

The time it takes for a solar lamp to charge depends on various factors, such as the type of lamp, the amount of sunlight, and the battery capacity. Generally, it takes about 6 to 8 hours to fully charge a FlinQ solar lamp. Keep in mind that during the winter months, a solar lamp charges slower and less effectively than during the summer months. The number of daylight hours is significantly less in winter compared to summer months.

Why Does My Solar Lamp Stay Lit for a Shorter Time in Winter than in Summer?

During the winter months, the days are much shorter and the sun’s power is significantly weaker. As a result, the lamps charge slower than in the summer months.

Can the Battery of the Solar Lamp be Replaced?

No, FlinQ solar lamps have a battery that cannot be replaced.

How Long Does a Solar Lamp Last on a Full Battery?

Depending on the internal battery and the type of solar panel, a FlinQ solar lamp can last up to 32 hours on a full battery. The placement of the lamp, as well as the intensity of the sun in combination with the number of sun hours in a day, determine how long a solar lamp can burn. When installing, make sure the lamp gets enough sunlight during the day.
